A cycle of fourteen sonnets, one per opening, set in Monotype Bell on dampened mould-made paper so the type bites visibly into the sheet. Only sixty copies were printed, each bound in full goatskin hand-tooled in blind by the shop’s own bindery rather than sent out to a trade binder.
The deckle edges are left untrimmed on three sides, as the paper came from the mill, which is both a period-correct choice for a book set in metal type and, more simply, the shop’s own house style.
